I’m in my mid-twenties, I have figurines in a toy box that had remained untouched for years. Recently I dug them out and tried to play with them like I used to do as a child.
Firstly i couldn’t imagine any scenarios to act out with the figurines. As a child I’d play for hours… this was never an issue in the past.
Secondly the thought of being caight in the act by anyone, inculding my wife, filled me with terror. I felt like I was doing something I really shouldn’t be doing.
Why do we stop playing with toys?
Why is it embarrasing to play with toys as an adult?
I have games consoles and computers and technological gadgets that I enjoy playing with… playing with toys is very different. Why?

cuz u thnk ur too old for it, too mature, too smart. but ur really longing to be a kid inside. we all no it. second, u think u are the one who creates the toys (indirectly) and its not right to play with them because ur paying for ur kid to play with the toy. u have kept the box all that time, so it mustve been something pretty special to you. keep it. you’ll be surprised what memories come bak to u.
