Apples to Apples! Really is like the best game! And for decorations you can have red and green things to match the game as well as red and green apples. Or Appletinis.
If you do Candyland, you can decorate in a Candy theme. Get those candies that look like diamond rings and make those your napkin rings. Get some vases and fill them with m&ms or jelly beans and then get those huge lollipops and have them sticking out of them like flowers normally would.
You can also go to the m&m’s website and get any color m&ms you want and personalize them to say whatever you want. They do any colors and any sayings. You can put them in cellophane bags and tie them with ribbon and give them out as favors for your guests.
You can also set up an ice cream bar for your guests being you’re doing a sweet/candy theme. Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream with toppings. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, caramel sauce, whipped cream and cherries. Go to the dollar store and get those tall plastic sundae glasses and have everyone make their own sundaes.
Then you can rent a popcorn maker or just make it yourself and have it out and rent a cotton candy machine being it’s candy land!
There’s SO much you can do with the candy theme! You can get those button candies that come on paper and they’re round, you can even use them as napkin rings, you can tie twizzlers around napkins, etc. You can get those different colored sugar swizzle sticks for everyone’s drinks.
You can serve pink lemonade and of course I’m sure you’re going to have alcohol, you can have some of the candy sweeten it up. Use charm pops as stirrers, etc.
You can get candies like Lemonheads and put them in clear vases and then jellybeans, m&ms, any kind of hard candy in clear vases will have a nice effect.
You can decorate in the colors of pink and white, like a sweet shop, with balloons and streamers, etc.
