Is it difficult to do this and is it profitable? You can try an affiliate shop, starting from scratch might be too much at the beginning. Many stores are doing this, one of them my friend that owns the passionshop store. You can get the info on the link below.

The old adage “sex sells” is true in many circumstances, but not in the sex industry as much (think about if you are looking for a vibrator then you expect to see sex images so it doesn’t have the same impact). It is a highly competitive market and only a very few succeed.
I carried out a bit of research 2 years ago where I collected the names of all the websites in the ppc results for 5 sex toy related keywords. I then checked them over the next 12 months to see who were still there. There were the larger business who where there but I was more interested in the new ones entering during that year and seeing if they lasted.
The results were that 96% of new entrants didn’t last 12 months.
We were recently approached by a competitor to see if we wanted to buy them out. The owner had pumped in £300,000 to the business but at best the business was worth only £20,000.
My advise is select one of these:
1 – Dont’ do it (but the sceptics out there would say I just don’t want the competition).
2 – Start in such a way that you really go for a big marketing push immediately
3 – Look at being an affiliate (this won’t have the profit margin but you will have less risk).
